Props to the Skiland grooming crew
Although Fairbanks has been experiencing a snow drought this year, Mt. Aurora Skiland is open, and the skiing is much better than one would expect. We owe the good conditions to our all-volunteer grooming crew who have been doing an outstanding job keep us skiing and riding. Grooming crew, our hat is off to you.

Fairbanks Ski Patrol
The Fairbanks Ski Patrol is the farthest north patrol in the National Ski Patrol system. We have a long history of serving Fairbanks, Alaska and the surrounding communities.
On the slopes of Mt. Aurora Skiland, the farthest north ski area in North America, under the direction of area management, we assist in operations, safety, and provide all on-slope emergency services. Off the slopes, we hold numerous special entertainment and educational events to raise funds for our operations.
Take some time to explore our site and discover all that the Fairbanks Ski Patrol and Mt. Aurora Skiland has to offer. If you are still left with questions, or want to find out more about the Fairbanks Ski Patrol or Mt. Aurora Skiland, please contact us using the contact link.
Remember, think snow, and ski or ride safe, we will be looking forward to seeing you on the slopes.
